El otro día escribí un mail al soporte quejándome de las nuevas medidas que han implementado. Dejo aquí el mail, por si alguno de los demás afectados quiere mandar también uno similar. No es para copy-pastear, es mi caso concreto.
Dear sirs,
I am deeply upset with the buy-in obligations system you recently deployed. I will explain in this mail my concerns and what I think you could do to improve the system.
From what I have read of your representative in 2+2 forums, this system was designed to avoid the behavior known as "ratholing". I use to play in 40-100bb tables, in stakes between 2$/4$ and 25$/50$, entering with 40bb's. I usually don't leave no matter how much my stack grows in the process. only quitting when the table breaks up and several players leave, meaning I almost never incur in "ratholing". Nevertheless, since tables are breaking up pretty fast in medium and high stakes tables, I find myself heavily affected by the buy-in obligations every day, specially when I play more than one session per day.
I understand it is hard to develop a system to avoid the "ratholing" behavior without affecting the 40bb players that do not incur in it, but in my opinion this measure virtually affects every single 40bb regular player. I suggest the following modifications to the system to alleviate the situation:
While the current buy-in obligations stay as they are, I am severely cutting my pokerstars volume of play in favor of third poker rooms. It saddens me after more than two millions VPP's and six years in pokerstars, but the current system spoils my way of playing.
Yours sincerely,
Ivan.
Lo más probable es que no les hagan ni caso, pero si reciben muchas quejas o va dejando gente de jugar, pues igual se consigue algo.

I suggest the following modifications to the system to alleviate the situation:
- Lower the buy-in obligation lifetimes to something more reasonable, like 3 hours, so the obligations do not survive along different sessions.
- Differentiate between high stakes obligations, medium stakes obligations and so on. I find not only unfair, but absurd that I am forced to play with a large stack in 25$/50$ due to have been playing with large stacks in 2$/4$ or 3$/6$.
While the current buy-in obligations stay as they are, I am severely cutting my pokerstars volume of play in favor of third poker rooms. It saddens me after more than two millions VPP's and six years in pokerstars, but the current system spoils my way of playing.
Yours sincerely,
Ivan.
